Aus den Erinnerungen eines Dämons (2025)
Directed by Kevin Koller
There is an economic crisis in the village.
Despite Mayor Emma Fuchs's efforts, the village is sliding deeper into crisis – the calls for change are growing louder. Deputy Mayor Fiona Schüller, Emma's best friend, hopes to capitalize on this: she is convinced she has effective solutions. However, these are skillfully ignored by Emma Fuchs, who is plagued by personal problems.
"Tom's Diner," once the city's social hub, is on the verge of bankruptcy. The 1950s-style restaurant can't stay open much longer without outside investment. Owners Tom and Franziska must decide whether to sell their beloved establishment to the capitalist Tony or hold onto it until the very last moment.
A group of billionaire women has different worries than the financial crisis: Mia, the youngest member of the trio, is about to get married. Her wedding was arranged purely for the group's profit: Damian, her fiancé, comes from an influential family and is therefore able to multiply the billionaires' wealth and network. But Mia has already fallen in love with someone else.
Meanwhile, a group of street children has ended up in prison. The siblings, plagued by hunger and poverty, encounter their biggest problem in jail: the lack of space and their close proximity to one another puts to the test how much family truly means to them.
A few kilometers further up a group of angels are sunbathing. Their daily routine consists of hunting demons and, once they've finished, sunbathing. However, when they realize that the imprisoned demon has escaped and landed in the aforementioned village, the angels face their greatest mission yet: The demon is a shapeshifter.
